THE MIC CHECK PROJECT

The Mic Check Project is under contract with LeCellar Music in Chicago. The label owns, in conjunction with Mic Check, a recording studio called LeCellar Studios.

Since 2009, Mic has released 4 records thru LeCellar Music. The records are as follows:

The 'Mic Check Project' is the name Mike Szczech uses when he performs as a solo artist.

He minored in music while in college which is great because it allows him to record and produce his own music at a production facility located in Chicago, that he is part owner of, since 2009.

I started this project in 2009, after some internal musical cohesion with BLACK JACK DANIELS. I released my first solo EP, Destination:Unknown, the night I played my final gig with Black Jack Daniels. The reaction from the fans that night made me push forward as a solo performer.
